How do I become a patient at Valley OB/GYN?

To become a patient of ours, simply call or visit the office and speak to one of our receptionists about your interest in being a patient at Valley OB/GYN. They will guide you through our enrollment procedures. Also, you may be referred by your primary care physician to our practice.

Will you accept my insurance?

We accept many forms of insurance including Medicare and Medicaid, so it is very likely. Our insurance partners include: Aetna, Asuris, Cigna-Great West, CHPW, Coventry Health, First Choice, First Health Network, Regence BlueShield of Idaho, Group Health, Health Net, Humana, Molina, Interwest, Premera, Uniform, United Healthcare, Triwest, and Wellcare.

Why does it matter that Valley OBGYN has received accreditation from the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM)?

For a practice to become accredited by the AIUM, strict standards must be met. A patient who goes to AIUM-accredited practice for an ultrasound examination can be guaranteed of the following:

• There is adequate space for patient comfort and privacy.
• There are complete records of every examination, which are available for easy retrieval and review.
• Policies are in place to ensure patient safety, confidentiality and prevent transmission of infectious disease.
• The ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
• All the physicians and sonographers in the practice have documented training and experience in ultrasound and have the appropriate credentials for the field. The physicians and sonographers receive continuing medical education in OBGYN ultrasound.
• The AIUM has determined that performance and interpretation of ultrasound examinations offered by the practice exceed nationally accepted standards.
